It is not true that you got to have green thumb to become a good gardener. You just need that burning desire to learn how to become one and everything will fall into place.
I have planted, grown, and killed many plants in my years of gardening. I found out that the work in the garden is never ending. Each plant has its own wants and needs and half the challenge is knowing each of them.
Living in Metro Manila where space is prime and limited, we have resorted to mostly container gardening. We have a growing collection of hard-to-find and exotic plants, some are endemic to the Philippines. It is sad when we have to let go of other plants to create space for new ones. If only we have a bigger space….
